Why Airbrush Makeup?
Airbase makeup is an ideal choice for brides, models, or anyone who needs a longlasting flawless finish that photographs well. It combines a unique mix of ingredients with silicone at the heart of its formulation. Silicone's long lasting properties are heat and sweat resistant and therefore last up to sixteen hours' wear. In addition it contains vitamins A and E which help to improve the skin's elasticity, reducing the appearance of fine lines. The formulation also has antioxidant properties, moisturising the skin and deactivating free radicals.
Application by airbrush sprays a very fine atomised layer of foundation, blusher or bronzer on to the skin which does not clog pores or sit heavily, feeling incredibly light and giving an even flawless finish. Airbrush makeup is used in HD TV and film as the particles in the makeup are much smaller than conventional makeup allowing a perfect finish.
This is one reason it is favoured by celebrities and celebrity makeup artists alike for the catwalk, film and television.
Kate uses a range of premier products including MAC, Illamasqua, Benefit, and Bobbi Brown, in addition to Airbase, and it is entirely the client's choice whether airbrush or conventional makeup techniques are used, although Kate will advise which she feels will be the most appropriate for each client.
